Kyla Wight has won the over 30s category in a national competition called UK Unsigned and is hoping to go on to win the final next month. The competition gave singers like Leona Lewis and Katie Melua a kick-start, so Kyla is keeping her fingers crossed.

There's also pictures from a new calendar shot at Invicta Barracks in Maidstone by the wives and girlfriends of soldiers based there. They’re hoping to sell it from October to raise money for Help for Heroes but need a sponsor to help with the production costs.
