One lane of the busy A249 was closed this afternoon due to a broken down lorry.

A lane on the northbound carriageway was shut after the vehicle broke down near Stockbury, close to Chalky Road.

Queues reportedly stretched all the way back down Detling Hill to junction 7 of the M20, for Maidstone.
