Delays are building during the morning rush hour as work continues to repair a water main.

One lane is closed in each direction along the A229 Loose Road, with Kent County Council's Highways department expecting "significant delays" at peak times.

Works have been planned for the half term to limit the rush hour impact.

The closure is in place between Plains Avenue and Northview.

Work is expected to finish at 3.30pm today (Tuesday).
