Jet washer stolen from Oakwood Park, Maidstone

A large jet washer stolen from Maidstone was so big it probably had to be towed away by a vehicle, police have said.

Officers are investigating after the piece of commercial equipment, used to clean buildings and yards, was taken from Oakwood Park.

The theft happened between 5pm on Friday, November 4 and 5pm on Monday, November 7.

Police are issuing an appeal now as they have just received the photo.

PC Graham Sene said: "Due to the size of the washer, it is likely that it was towed away by a vehicle.

"We would be really keen to hear from anybody who has seen it or who has had it offered to them for sale."
