Drivers are experiencing delays after a car crashed into a telegraph pole earlier this morning.

The A229 Hayle Road in Maidstone is closed from Old Tovil Road to B2010 following the incident, which occurred at 7.48am.

Delays are also being experienced on the A229 Loose Road and Upperstone Street.

Despite no serious injuries being reported, one lane is still closed awaiting the car's recovery.
