Two lanes of the M20 were closed yesterday evening after a crash between a car and a lorry.

The accident happened on the coastbound carriageway between junctions 6 (Chatham) and 7 (A249) at 6.23pm.

The police were able to re-open one lane an hour later, and the second lane later that night.

A spokesman said: “There were some traffic delays, but fortunately no-one was seriously injured.”
