M20: Lorry driver rushed to hospital after being found 'slumped at the wheel' between Junction 7 and 6

A lorry driver has been rushed to hospital after he was found slumped at the wheel on a motorway.

Emergency services received several calls from drivers reporting a HGV to be driving "all over the road" on the London-bound carriageway of the M20 between Junction 7 and 6.

First aid was given at the scene and yhe was transported to a local hospital for further treatment.

A police spokeswoman said: "Officers were called to the Londonbound carriageway of the M20 near Junction 7 and 6 at 3.25pm to assist with a suspected medical episode.

"The South East Coast Ambulance Service attended and a man was taken to a local hospital."
