This was the scene on the M20 tonight after a lorry crashed into the central reservation.

The motorway is closed coast-bound at the A229 Maidstone/Chatham junction 6 for Blue Bell Hill.

Police have closed the motorway following the single vehicle accident.

Debris has been left across all five lanes where the A229 and the M20 split.
