Drivers of a crane and an articulated lorry escaped without serious injuries when their vehicles collided.

The crash happened just before 8.30am today on the M20.

The two giant road users were travelling coastbound, between junction 8 for Hollingbourne and junction 9 for Ashford.

Crews from Kent Police, Highways Agency and the South East Coast Ambulance attended.

One of the drivers suffered minor injuries but did not need hospital treatment.

The incident was dealt with on the hard shoulder.
