Maidstone chairman Paul Bowden-Brown has confirmed that local businessman David Folb is the only person to have expressed interest in buying the club so far.

Mr Bowden-Brown admitted he had received "one or two other phone inquiries" but the first meeting, an informal discussion with Mr Folb’s representative, former Stones player Glenn Aitken, took place on Thursday night.

Mr Bowden-Brown (pictured) said: "It is my wish to stand aside, I am tired and feel I have taken the club as far as I can.
