Maidstone claimed a single point from their opening double-header in the EHL Indoor Hockey League.

The Division 1 team lost 9-6 to Kent rivals Canterbury in the opening game on Sunday before following that up with a 5-5 draw with Team Bath Buccaneers.

Six games follow this weekend with three on Saturday and three more on Sunday.

In the Women’s Division 1 Sevenoaks lost 3-2 to Aldridge and then 2-0 to top of the table Reading.
