Maidstone: Callum Lucas warned he faces prison after admitting two offences of child abduction

A 20-year-old man has been warned he is facing custody after admitting two offences of abducting a child.

Callum Lucas, of Bicknor Road, Maidstone, entered the pleas when he appeared at Maidstone Crown Court by TV link with Lewes Prison.

The girl, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, was said to be under the age of 15.

Judge David Griffith-Jones QC ordered a pre-sentence report but warned Lucas, who is of previous good character: “The reality is a sentence of imprisonment will follow.”

Lucas was remanded in custody.
