Maidstone: Man arrested after police stop car driving without headlights on

A 21-year-old man was stopped by police at 3am for driving without any headlights on before being arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit through drugs.

The man, from Sevenoaks, was driving along Tonbridge Road, Maidstone, this morning when he was stopped.

He was also arrested on suspicion of possession of cocaine with intent to supply.

Officers seized a mobile phone and quantity of drugs believed to be cocaine and cannabis.

He was later released under investigation.
