Detectives have arrested a man from Stockbury on suspicion stealing a car and handling stolen goods.

Officers with from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate searched an address in the village yesterday.

A total of eight vehicles were seized and a 44-year-old man was arrested.

The man has since been released under investigation.
