Maidstone: Man in 30s rushed to hospital with head and stomach injuries after Brenchley Gardens assault

A man in his 30s was rushed to hospital after being assaulted in a park in Maidstone.

The victim suffered a cut to his forehead and an injury to his stomach following the attack, which occurred between 4.30pm and 6.20pm on Sunday in Brenchley Gardens.

However, his injuries are not described as life threatening and the victim has since been discharged from hospital.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that may help the investigation to contact them by calling 01622 604100 quoting reference YY/34678/18.
