Maidstone: Drugs arrest in Calder Road leads to charge for Peckham man

Police have charged a man from London with supplying drugs in Maidstone.

Nathan Elliot was arrested after being stopped in Calder Road on Monday.

A quantity of cash and a mobile phone were seized, and the 29-year-old, from Peckham, was subsequently charged with offering to supply crack cocaine and heroine.

He appeared at Maidstone Magistrates Court yesterday where he was remanded to appear before Maidstone Crown Court on Tuesday, January 2.

This arrest was made as part of Operation Raptor, a Kent Police initiative aimed at preventing and disrupting violent crime and the supply of class A drugs.
