A man was cut from his car this morning following a crash on the southbound A228 in Leybourne.

The accident, involving two vehicles, happened at about 5.30am by traffic lights near Hermitage Farm.

Firefighters from Larkfield used hydraulic cutting equipment to release the man.

The other driver, who was also male, was out of his car by the time crews arrived.
