Man cut free from car following two vehicle crash in Sittingbourne Road, Maidstone

Fire crews have cut a man free from his car following an accident in Maidstone.

Emergency services were called to the A249 Sittingbourne Road at around 8.30am today after an incident involving at least two vehicles.

Once there firefighters used hydraulic rescue equipment to free the man, who is in his 30s.

He was then transported to the Tunbridge Wells hospital to treat neck and back pains.

There were no other injuries reported.
