Man dies after being found unconscious in toilets

The men were found near Maidstone Crown Court

A 35-year-old man has died after he and another man were discovered unconscious in public toilets in a Kent town.

The 35-year-old, who has not yet been named, and the other man were found collapsed in toilets by the riverbank at Fairmeadow, Maidstone, at about 6pm on Wednesday.

The 35-year-old later died. A 55-year-old man remains in hospital where he continues to be treated.

Kent Police are currently investigating the circumstances. The toilets are near the Maidstone Crown Court building.
