Police were called to reports of a death in a quiet Maidstone street today.

Officers were called to Roseleigh Avenue, Allington, at about midday to reports a man's body had been found at a private address.

He is thought to have been in his 50s.

The death is being treated as non-suspicious, but police remain at the scene.

Next of kin have been informed and the case has been passed on to the coroner who will determine the cause of death.
