Man left with facial injuries after being attacked by three men in Tonbridge Road, Maidstone

A man in his 40s has been left with a facial injury after being jumped by three men.

Police are investigating after the victim was attacked in Tonbridge Road, Maidstone, near the junction with Western Road, between midnight and 1am on Saturday, November 13.

He was walking towards the town centre when he was approached from behind by the men, who are alleged to have assaulted him.

The victim suffered a facial cut and severe bruising and went to hospital for medical attention.

Investigating officer, PC Chris Welham, said: "We have been completing enquiries in the area, including the examination of CCTV footage, and are now appealing for anyone who saw the incident to contact us.

"Drivers with dashcam and residents with private CCTV are also asked to check for footage that may assist our investigation."
