Crash leaves one injured after van collides with bollards and house in Lower Street, Leeds

Emergency services raced to the scene of a crash today after a van collided with bollards and a house.

Police, paramedics, fire crews and the air ambulance attended the incident in Lower Street, Leeds, at 2pm.

A man in his 20s was pulled from the vehicle by a member of the public and received medical treatment before being taken by road to William Harvey Hospital in Ashford with pack pain.

Two fire engines, an air ambulance, five ambulance vehicles — including two hazardous area response team units — and two police cars were present during the incident.

Police confirmed that minor damage had been caused to the property, with the road clear just after 3pm.
