A driver has been cut from his vehicle after it ended up on its roof after a crash.

The elderly man was freed by fire crews and placed onto a spinal longboard, before being passed into the care of paramedics.

Three fire engines were sent to the scene of the accident, which happened on Heath Road in Barming, at about 7.20pm.

Crews remained on site until 8.30pm.
