Police arrest burglary suspects after one falls ill in Bower Street, Maidstone

Three burglary suspects were arrested after one of them fell ill at the scene of the alleged crime.

Police were called to Bower Street in Maidstone at 4.15pm yesterday to concerns for a man's welfare.

When they arrived they found a number of nearby sheds appeared to have been broken into.

Witnesses reported seeing a number of police cars and ambulances, as well as forensics teams, at the scene.

Two men aged 46 and 41 were arrested on suspicion of burglary, and bailed until October 31.

The third man, aged 38, was taken to hospital and after treatment, was also arrested on suspicion of burglary.

He remains in custody.
