A faith-led concert for teenagers will be blessed with an appearance from an award-winning rapper.

The gig, booked for next Friday, at Maidstone Leisure Centre, will feature Christian artist GuvnaB.

The musician has a MOBO award under his belt and became the first hip-hop singer to top the official Christian and Gospel Chart with his album Odd1Out.

The show has been arranged by Festive Fish, an event production company which provides Christian entertainment for youth audiences. The venture is the brainchild of Junction – a community group linked with St Peters Church in Boughton Monchelsea.

Organiser John Newcombe said: “It is going to be a fantastic evening.”

Tickets are £6 and can be bought from www.festivefish.co.uk. The performance is only open to youngsters aged between 13 and 18. Guests are asked to bring ID.
