Maidstone: Motorcyclist suffers serious leg injuries in Sutton Road crash

Detectives investigating a crash involving a motorcyclist who suffered serious leg injuries are appealing for witnesses.

The collision happened at around 10.50am on Wednesday, in Norton Road, Chart Sutton, Maidstone, at the junction with Warmlake Road.

It involved a silver Skoda Fabia and a red Yamaha motorcycle. The motorcyclist was taken by air ambulance to a London hospital with leg injuries and is continuing to receive treatment.

Officers have spoken to the driver of the Skoda and are also keen to speak to anyone else who may have important information.

They would particularly like to contact the driver of a large white van who may have witnessed the collision, but is reported to have left the scene.
