Traffic queued on the London-bound carriageway of the M20 earlier today due to a broken down vehicle.

The problem occurred near junction 8 for Leeds and Maidstone Services at about 1pm.

The London-bound exit slip road was closed and police were at the scene.

The vehicle was recovered and the slip road reopened by about 2pm.

There is extra traffic in the area today as visitors flock to the Motors by the Moat car show at Leeds Castle.
