Miss Grzymala previously worked for Sanctuary Housing, covering the Dartford and Swanley area.

She said of her new role: “It is fantastic and very busy, but I am absolutely loving it.”

She replaces Sue Tallowin who stepped down after 10 years at the centre.

The centre, which is run by Maidstone Christian Care, provides support and advice to homeless people and runs Food For Thought, which distributes goods donated by supermarkets to the needy.
