Sheltered housing across the Tonbridge and Malling borough opened its doors to show people what's on offer.

An open day at Waterside Court, Leybourne, one in a series across Tonbridge and Malling

The week-long celebration by Circle Housing Russet, prompted by research which found over 65s fear being seen as less independent, kicked off on Monday with Waterside Court in Leybourne welcoming visitors.

Other sites which have taken part include St Augustine’s and Becket in Tonbridge, Penruddock House in Tonbridge and St Peter’s Court in Ditton; Townlocke House in Tonbridge and St Mary’s Court in West Malling.

Today (Friday) will be the turn of Frome Court in Tonbridge and Rectory Close in Snodland.
