A vehicle overturned on a busy route heading out of Maidstone this morning, causing the road to be shut.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash, on the sliproad off the A229 onto the M20, which is near the Village Hotel, at 8:46am.

The vehicle and a trailer have now been recovered and the road re-opened at 10:40am.

Police said minor injuries had been reported.
