A pensioner seriously injured in a crash on Sunday afternoon has died in hospital.

A silver Ford KA and grey Audi A4 collided on the A20 Ashford Road in Lenham around 3.30pm, at the crossroad junction with Faversham Road.

An 82-year-old woman who was a passenger in the Ford KA was airlifted to King's College Hospital in London with serious injuries, where she died yesterday.

The female driver was taken to William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.
