Kent Police appeal for witnesses after pensioner injured in a collision in Otford at the junction with the High Street and Sevenoaks Road

Police are appealing for witnesses after a pensioner was involved in a serious collision in Otford.

A 74 year-old man remains in Tunbridge Wells Hospital following the incident, which happened at around 9pm yesterday.

He was driving a Peugeot 308 which hit a number of parked cars at the junction of the High Street and Sevenoaks Road.

It is believed the driver may have become ill prior to the collision and he currently remains in hospital.

Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit is now appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or who saw the car in the moments leading to the collision, to contact them.

Anyone with information should call the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 01622 798538, quoting 27-1534.
