Penenden Heath: Police and paramedics called to shops in Boxley Road

A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault following a disturbance outside a parade of shops in Penenden Heath.

Two police cars and ambulance vehicles were called to Boxley Road at 10am after reports a man was hurt.

He was later taken to hospital for treatment with facial injuries.

Emergency services were called to Penenden Heath

Unconfirmed reports suggest there had been a fight.

A 53-year-old Bromley man was arrested on suspicion of assault and has been bailed until March.

A force spokesman said enquiries were ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
