Maidstone Magistrates' Court fire: Police release image of men wanted for questioning

Police have released a CCTV image of two men wanted for question in relation to a fire.

The two front doors to Maidstone Magistrates' Court were reported to be on fire at around 11pm on Saturday.

A security guard at the court smelt smoke before finding the Palace Avenue doors ablaze.

He extinguished the flames and called firefighters and police.

Officers would like to speak to two men seen in the area at the time. They were seen walking towards Gabriels Hill from the direction of the court.
