Police appeal for missing West Farleigh man Peter Finch called off after body found

Peter Finch went missing from his home in West Farleigh on Monday, March 11, 2013

Police searching for a missing man have called off the hunt after a body was found.

Officers believe the body found in Barming Woods at around 3.30pm yesterday is that of Peter Finch.

Mr Finch, of St Helen's Lane, West Farleigh, went missing on March 4.

It was thought the 60-year-old had not taken his medication and there were fears for his mental health.

His death is not being treated as suspicious.

A formal identification has yet to take place, but Mr Finch's family have been informed of the discovery.
