Maidstone: Police appeal for witnesses after motorway link road crash

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious crash between a lorry and a van on a motorway link road.

At around 4.09pm yesterday, a collision involving a lorry and a van happened on the southbound carriageway of the M20 spur road to the A20 at junction 8 near Maidstone.

Officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene where two men received medical attention for minor injuries. They were both taken to a local hospital for further treatment.

The air ambulance has been called to the scene

The road remained closed until 3am today for barrier repairs.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are investigating the incident and are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the vehicles immediately before or during the collision, or who have dashcam footage to get in contact.
