Maidstone: Kent Police appeal for witnesses to assault in Reculver Walk close to Senacre shops

Police are hunting a predator who allegedly lay in wait for a teenage girl then grabbed her and pushed her into a wall.

The 15-year-old was on her way to Senacre shops in Maidstone when a man shouted at her from the nearby park.

She sped up and went into the shops, but when she walked out and headed towards her house, the man grabbed her.

This incident occurred between 6.30 and 7pm on Sunday, June 26.

The girl managed to get away and run home to call the police.

The man is described as being white, between 20 and 25 years old, with short ginger hair and stubble. He is around 5ft 8ins tall.

He is reported to have been wearing a blue shirt, dark jeans, brown shoes and a watch. He was carrying a jacket.
