Officers are appealing for witnesses after an assault in Maidstone

A woman in her 20s suffered bruising to her face after being assaulted by a man in Scotney Gardens, Maidstone.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident which happened at around 10.30am on Monday, July 29.
A 24-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm, but officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed what happened.
