Emergency services have left the scene of a crash on the A249 at Detling Hill.

Police were called at 1.25pm to a single vehicle collision involving a motorbike on the Maidstone-bound side of the road.

One lane of the southbound section of the road was temporarily closed to allow ambulance crews to attend to the motorcyclicst.

The road has now completely re-opened and traffic is beginning to move as normal.

The motorcyclist's injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
