Two women wanted in connection with a purse snatch in Tonbridge

Police have issued CCTV images of two women they want to question in connection with a purse snatch.
The women are seen shopping at Peacocks in Tonbridge High Street on Friday, September 16.

An elderly woman shopping there the same day left the store at 11.45am and realised her handbag was open. Her purse, which contained a large amount of cash, had been taken.
PC Anthony Cross of Kent Police said: “We are asking for anyone who may recognise either of the women in the CCTV image to come forward.
“Alternatively, those pictured may wish to contact us so they can rule themselves out of our enquiries.”
Anyone with information should contact police on 01732 502104 or Kent Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111, quoting reference BY/012856/11.
