KENT police have named a man killed in a road accident in Aylesford, near Maidstone, on December 16.

He was 53-year-old William Petts, known as Bill, who came from from Egerton Road, Maidstone. He was a married father of two children. He also leaves two grandchildren.

In a statement issued through police his family said: "He will be greatly missed and always loved."
