Police shut entrance to Whatman Park, Maidstone, after man falls

Police have closed a road in Maidstone after a man in his 50s was found unconscious.

They were called at 4.16am following the discovery of the man near Maidstone Barracks railway station.

The entrance to Whatman Park has been shut off and officers are in Buckland Road too.

The man's been airlifted to a London hospital with a head injury after falling.

A cordon's been in place on Buckland hill.
