The two suspects.

The police have released an image of two women they would like to speak to in connection with bank card thefts in Maidstone and Ashford.

Kent police received two reports of shoppers discovering they had their cards removed from their purses and handbags, although other valuable items such as mobile phones had not been taken, on Tuesday, May 21.

It is believed that they are linked to a similar report from Ashford on Friday, 17 May.

In total, more than £3,700 is reported to have been withdrawn from the cards that have been reported stolen.
