Officers were called to a cul-de-sac in Maidstone after a row reportedly broke out between two men.

Police arrived in Recreation Close, off Sittingbourne Road, at about 5pm yesterday.

An eyewitness said officers were armed but Kent Police is yet to confirm this.

A force spokesman said a man was arrested for allegedly threatening another man.
