A CONVICTED sex offender is facing a lengthy sentence after admitting raping a woman in a car park.

Alan Bond, 35, was told by a judge at Maidstone Crown Court that he would consider the issue of dangerousness when sentence is passed in May.

Judge Philip Statman ordered a psychiatric report on balding and bearded Bond, as well as a pre-sentence report.

The judge said he would have to consider either a life sentence or imprisonment for public protection.

Bond was jailed for 21 months in November 2005 at Maidstone Crown Court for failing to comply with conditions under the Sex Offenders’ Act, by not reporting to police.

It was the fifth time he had appeared in court for similar offences.

Bond last year twice refused to enter the dock for preliminary hearings on the latest rape charges.
