Classmates of tragic teen Zoe Georgiou will stage a charity show in support of her unwell mother.

Pupils at Invicta Grammar School, in Huntsman Lane, have arranged a variety performance to raise funds for research into multiple sclerosis, which the 16-year-old’s mum suffers from.

The sixth former from Shepway died after she was hit by a car in Heath Road, in Coxheath, on Saturday, January 11.

Her friends and teachers stood outside the school in bright colours when the funeral procession went past on Thursday, January 30, on its way to Vinters Park Crematorium.

It said: “We are keen for this show to be a positive celebration of Zoe’s life. We will be using the event as a way of raising money for a charity that would have been dear to her heart.”
