Traffic has returned to normal after a crash involving two cars, one towing a horse trailer.

Police were called to the A229 in Linton around 9am following the collision near Heath Road.

Paramedics were also at the scene and treated a woman for minor injuries.

Work is expected to finish today.

The horse which was being transported in the trailer will be taken to a vet to be checked over.
