Traffic queueing after serious crash on the A228 at Cuxton

A road has reopened after an earlier crash.
Officers directed traffic on the A228 Cuxton Road after the accident, which shut the road in both directions at Darnley Road.
The road had reopened and traffic had eased by 10am.
