Lloyd Ramsey of Chenies Close in Tunbridge Wells due to appear at Maidstone Crown Court for alleged robbery offences in Union House car park

A 35-year-old man charged with two robbery offences has been remanded in custody.

Lloyd Ramsey, of Chennies Close in Tunbridge Wells, was charged on Sunday with two offences of attempted robbery and taking a vehicle without consent.

A day earlier, at around 10.20pm, it was reported that four youths were approached in the Union House car park, Tunbridge Wells, by a man armed with a metal object.

The victims reported that the man demanded money and mobile phones before escaping with an iPhone and cash.

Ramsey was remanded to HMP Elmley and is due to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday, 7 March.
