A suspected drug dealer was arrested when a routine stop check revealed cannabis, ecstasy and a knife in a car.

Police stopped the car in Maidstone on Sunday night, September 26, after spotting it driving erratically through the town centre.

A later search also uncovered a forged £10 note.

A 29 year old man was arrested for possession with intent to supply a controlled substance, possession of an offensive weapon, drink driving and forgery, and has been bailed until Wednesday November 17.

A further warrant was then carried out at an address at Kingsley Road, where officers seized a further eighty ecstasy tablets, more herbal cannabis, and an amount of suspected stolen goods.
